Top 8 ‘Fairly OddParents’ Tattoos – Littered With Garbage

Fairly OddParents has a long and storied history on Nickelodeon. Created by Butch Hartman, Fairly OddParents began as shorts, debuting in 1998 and ending in 2001. The show struck a chord with Nickelodeon’s key audience and thus Fairly OddParents was picked up by the network and went to series.

The first five seasons ran from 2001 to 2006 when the show was cancelled. Despite Fairly OddParents returning in 2008, Nickelodeon did as Nickelodeon does and the final five seasons took 9 years to air, before the series came to an end (for the second and final time) in 2017.

In total, Fairly OddParents ran for 10 seasons and 161 episodes, plus 10 shorts from its original run.

We’ve been seeing fewer tattoos with these newer turn of the millennium shows from Nickelodeon. This is likely due to the fact that the nostalgia isn’t quite as strong with a show which aired so recently, especially compared to that of 90s classics such as Rugrats or Rocko’s Modern Life.

Another reason for the limited number of Fairly OddParents tattoos could also come down to the negative perception of fairy tattoos. Anything fairy and whimsical related was certainly a trend in tattooing for women in the 90s and come the turn of the millennium; with how terrible most of those tattoos were it tainted the image of fairies – we’ve even seen this affect the number of dolphins in tattooing.

Do yourself a favour and choose your tattoo artist wisely, so that in years to come you, too, don’t end up regretting your Fairly OddParents tattoo.
