If you were a 90s kid, chances are that you were glued to your television and binge-watched Nickelodeon every day after school. One our favourites (probably because we’re Australian and it featured a wallaby) was Rocko’s Modern Life. The show ran for four seasons and produced 52 episodes, with re-runs on steady rotation following its finale in 1996.
We recently shared some Rugrats tattoos to celebrate their return, and now we get to to the same for Rocko’s Modern Life. The show will be returning to our screens later this year with a one-hour television special titled Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling to air on Netflix.
If you’re cynical about the current state of the world, judging by the trailer, the Rocko’s Modern Life special will be right up your alley.
Given some image results that popped up when researching for this post, we’ve realised that we are not the first ones to notice the similarity between Rocko’s toad neighbour, Ed Bighead and POTUS, Donald Trump – we’re hopeful the special will focus mainly on Rocko, and his friends Heffer and Filburt.
