Top 25 Daffodil Tattoos – Littered With Garbage
Along with tulips, daffodils became a commercial flower crop in the Netherlands during the 19th century. Normally found with either white or yellow flowers, there are also orange and pink varieties. You may choose to stick with one colour, or get one of each, depending on your tattoo design concept.
It’s interesting how daffodils can represent vastly different things around the world. The flowers symbolise the new year in Iranian culture, in addition to beautiful eyes in literature. They’re a symbol of wealth and good fortune in the East, but a symbol of vanity in the West.
Daffodils are the national flower of Wales. Just like a kangaroo (or emu) and wattle tattoo would represent Australia, adding some daffodils to a dragon piece would serve as an ode to one’s Welsh heritage – flowers and animals (even mythical ones) are a classic combination.
Use these 25 daffodil tattoos to spark your creativity, but as always: Be Inspired. Never Copy.
