Pompompurin (also known as Pudding Dog or Purin) was created by a Sanrio employee in 1996 as part of an in-house contest.

Originally called My Pudding, Pompompurin is a male golden retriever who enjoys nothing more than chasing his own brown beret when it blows off in the wind.

As with anything created by Sanrio, Pompompurin is so damn adorable, as are these ten tattoos.
