Top 10 Tattoos Inspired by Adam Sandler Films – Littered With Garbage

Whether you love or hate him, nothing can take away from the fact that, over the past 25 years, Adam Sandler’s movies have grossed a combined $2 billion at the box office.

Securing small parts in film and television, and performing stand up comedy, led to Sandler being hired as a writer for Saturday Night Live in 1990, before eventually becoming a featured player. He starred in Coneheads and Airheads while still a cast member on SNL, followed by
Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore after departing the sketch comedy show in 1995.

Sandler formed his production company Happy Madison in 1999. Throughout his extensive career, he has starred in over 60 films and released several comedy albums.

In more recent years Sandler’s fallen out of favour, not due to a scandal of any sorts, but his films being panned from critics – he’s become an easy target to mock, much like Nickelback.

There was a shift, however, to the public perception following his 2018 stand-up comedy special, and his return to SNL (including his emotional Chris Farley tribute) in May 2019.

Still to this day, Sandler’s more iconic mid-90s films still manage to bring the nostalgia that so many of us crave. Sometimes a good laugh, even about something so very stupid, is the medicine we all need in that moment.

Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison remain firm favourites of ours, and much of the tattoo community, too. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Happy Gilmore we’ve put together this list of ten tattoos inspired by Adam Sandler’s films. Enjoy!
