Formed in 1986, Gwen Stefani went from providing backing vocals for her brother’s band, No Doubt before taking over as lead vocalist come 1988. The band achieved relative success but it was their 1995 breakout album Tragic Kingdom – featuring the singles “Just a Girl” and “Don’t Speak” – which saw them achieve worldwide fame.

Tragic Kingdom remains No Doubt’s biggest success to date, making up 50% of their total album sales; it’s no surprise that this album has inspired most of the tattoos below.
