Top 10 Donald Duck Tattoos – Littered With Garbage
Full name Donald Fauntleroy Duck, Donald Duck was created by the Walt Disney company in 1934. Donald is nephew to Scrooge McDuck, and uncle to Huey, Dewey and Louie. Daisy Duck, of course, is his significant other.
Donald has made hundreds of appearance in short films, feature length films, various Disney animated TV series, video games, books, and comics. Donald Duck has more film appearances than even Mickey! When reading through his history, we can’t quite grasp the amount of Donald Duck content and merchandise has been produced throughout almost a century.
Outside of the Disney universe, he has his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Donald is the official (licensed) mascot for the University of Oregon, where he is referred to as the Fighting Duck. And literally out in the universe, Asteroid 12410 is named after him.
It’s been over 20 years since Donald last appeared in a theatrical film (Fantasia 2000), as Disney has shifted its focus to more modern characters for sequels, or creating entirely new characters.
As a source of entertainment for generations, there is seemingly an endless supply or imagery and inspiration for a Donald Duck tattoo. As part of a trio with Mickey and Goofy in the 1930s, perhaps you could reunite them in tattoo form?
A Donald Duck tattoo could represent a memory of meeting and hugging Donald at a Disney Park; spending your childhood watching every Disney film or television show you could access; an uncle/nephew tattoo with the elder getting either Scrooge or Donald, and the younger of you getting Donald or Huey, Dewey, or Louie; and the obvious partner tattoos of Donald and Daisy.
How well can you imitate Donald’s voice? Just make sure if you do copy something, it’s his voice and not any of these tattoos. We’d love to see your own Donald Duck tattoo – tag us on Instagram @litteredwithgarbage.
