NOTE: For the remainder of 2020, LWG is planning on producing Tattoo Artist Profiles (first there was “WAP”, now there’s TAP) while COVID-19 continues to affect those in the tattoo industry. Read more about it here.
It’s such a cliche to say that tattoos are our way to permanently decorate our bodies and turn them into things of beauty, but it is true.
One artist who is constantly producing such stunning work is Paula Castle, the owner of Black Sheep Tattoo in Brisol, England. Vegan and eco-friendly, Paula prides herself on providing a safe and inclusive environment for all of the studio’s clients.
Paula’s work features in 70 existing and future blog posts here on LWG; with those numbers, Paula’s up there with the likes of Lucy Blue, Jess White, and Ebony Mellowship.
Paula produces custom pop culture, animal and nature themed tattoos and stylised portraits in her bold, neo traditional style. In fact, it was when compiling a list of the top Stevie Nicks tattoos (for a website that shall remain nameless) over four years ago that we first discovered Paula Castle.
We often ponder whether a tattoo collection is ever truly complete without at least one rose tattoo. Today we’re highlighting some gems of tattoos (quite literally) and we know for a fact that a jewel tattoo from Paula is certainly the crowning glory of her clients’ collections.
