Jody is known for beautiful animal, flower, spoopy horror, and the occasional pop culture pieces in her bold and lasting neo trad style. Should We Change Our Name? – Littered With Garbage

Most of you are probably unaware of how our website got its name. and that over the past few months we’ve been torn over whether we should change it. The name of our website was inspired by this 2017 GQ video where Oliver Peck and Chris Nunez discuss celebrity’s tattoos, with Peck referring to Justin Bieber as being “littered with garbage” tattoos. We thought the term was funny, and it aligns with our aim of breaking down the stereotype that tattooed people are delinquents and mentally damaged for wanting to alter their appearance, and wanting to help people avoid getting bad tattoos. We sort through all the rubbish tattoos and…

Top 14 Mrs. Doubtfire Tattoos – Littered With Garbage

Today marks the 25th anniversary of the film so many of us watched and loved as children: Mrs. Doubtfire. The film covered realistic themes of divorce and custody battles but with the crazy concept of a father disguising himself as an elderly female nanny. Mrs. Doubtfire made us both laugh and cry – more of the latter now that Robin is gone. It’s news to us, but the film was actually based on the novel Alias Madame Doubtfire by Anne Fine. Mrs. Doubtfire was directed by Chris Columbus – the man behind other classics such as Gremlins and Home Alone – and was the second highest grossing film of 1993. Sadly Robin Williams is no…

Episodes 6 to 10 of the R&H Beer Radio Program have featured the themes of Staten Island, movie soundtracks, cover songs, and down the rabbit hole. Given how much free time we have outside of LWG, we’ve been keeping ourselves busy by adding ideas to our tattoo wish list – some of these design concepts are inspired by musical artists featured on the radio program. Which of…

Top 20 Broccoli Tattoos – Littered With Garbage

Those edible miniature trees that we know as broccoli are a vegetable in the cabbage family. Broccoli was cultivated over 2000 years ago in the Mediterranean and is popular in Italian cuisine – the vegetable’s name is derived from an Italian term meaning “the flowering crest of a cabbage”. This cruciferous vegetable is despised by many, but some love it so much that they have broccoli tattooed on their body. These vegetable tattoos are anything but bland, with new school pieces, plenty of sparkles, and a range of abstracts works – even pets are getting in on the action. Think of your tattoo as the actual vegetable – what sort of “seasoning”…
