Ghostbusters was released in 1984 and, as we discovered a couple of days ago, on the same weekend as Gremlins. If you prefer the supernatural over mogwais then this is the post for you.
The supernatural comedy will celebrate its 35th anniversary in 2019. Written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, the duo were joined by Bill Murray in the film as a group of parapsychologists that start a ghost-catching business in New York City.
The film also starred Sigourney Weaver from the Alien franchise and Rick Moranis from Little Shop of Horrors. The sequel was released in 1989, with an animated television series, video games, and a wide selection of merchandise released in the following decades.
Ghostbusters was rebooted in 2016 to much controversy – we’ve decide to stick with the 80s original in order to avoid any debates.
Many of the films covered during Halloween Month have seen the villain or generally one character feature almost exclusively in tattoos. Ghosbusters fans appear to be some of the more creative and adventurous types when it comes to body art, with a variety of styles and Slimer, Gozer, and the giant Stay Puft Marshmallow Man all featuring, along with the main cast.
Who you gonna call for a new tattoo? Maybe one of the artists featured below.
